With nearly two decades of campaign and business experience, Michael Clarke established Campaignology after the 2018 elections. His firm has become a key player in digital fundraising, supporting U.S. Senate, House, and local candidates across Arizona, California, Louisiana, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington. Under his leadership, Campaignology has been recognized as a finalist for four 2025 Reed Awards, highlighting innovative contributions to digital fundraising.

A passion for campaigns was ignited early in his career, leading to significant roles such as Field Director for Zack Space's first congressional campaign in OH-18, where his work contributed to a come-from-behind primary victory and a resounding 20-point win in a red district. His expertise in campaigns continued to grow through positions like Campaign Manager for Oregon Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian, Campaign Director for the 2012 Massachusetts Question 2 Ballot Question, and Fundraising Director for Congressmen Bill Keating (MA-9) and Raul Grijalva (AZ-7).

His journey in political campaigns began at The University of Akron's Bliss Institute for Applied Politics, where he founded Demville Internet Strategies as a student, focusing on website design and email marketing. Early in his career, he worked with over 30 local campaigns and organizations. He joined the Internet Association Corporation in 2004 as Product Development Coordinator. During this time, he was instrumental in launching the political department and secured his first Pollie Award in 2005 for the best use of a website in field organizations.
